Dear our friends in US,

The large quake which hit Japan on Friday was a really scaly experience. I was forced to flea from my office, and everybody was in a panic.

Thankfully all of my family in Tokyo were okay.

Me and my brother Hiro ( a veteran IndyCar photographer), are originally from Miyagi, which is very close to the epicenter of the earthquake and one of the worst hit areas. We have been trying to contact our family members in our hometown all night, but cell phones have not been working since the quake hit.

We were very worried because our mom was out of town and we could not reach her, but finally after 13 hours I got a phone call at 3:30am telling us that our mom is okay.

Our hometown has been seriously damaged by the Tsunami, and we are still trying to get hold of our local friends.
